Flute Festival Orchestra

A special stage will host the Flute Festival Ensemble. As a matter of fact, the Loggia dei Lanzi in Piazza Signoria will frame the concerts of the 90 flautists mainly coming from Tuscany, partly from various Italian regions and a few from abroad. The event, organized by the Music School Il Trillo in Florence is included in the programme of the Festival d’Europa. The orchestra was formed during “Flautisti in Festa”, a three-day international kermis organized by Il Trillo including the greatest flautists of international renown, to which musical middles schools, musical secondary schools, conservatories and talents following high specializing courses, participated.
The Music School “Il Trillo” was founded in 1999 with the purpose of providing interested people with the opportunity of starting to study an instrument and singing, in a playful way but at the same time with the quality that only professional teachers can ensure.
