RICHARD PORTES
Richard Portes è Professore di Economia alla London Business School (dal 1995); Presidente del Centre for Economic Policy Research (da lui fondato nel 1983); e Directeur d'Etudes all’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales di Parigi (dal 1978). E’ stato Scholar a Rhodes e Fellow al Balliol College di Oxford, mentre ha insegnato a Princeton, Harvard (come Guggenheim Fellow) e al Birkbeck College (University of London). Il Professor Portes è stato eletto Fellow della British Academy e della Econometric Society. E’ Co-Presidente del Board of Economic Policy, un membro del Bellagio Group on the International Economy e del Council on Foreign Relations, nonché Presidente del Collegio di Probiviri (Collegio dei Saggi) dell’MTS.

Professor Portes has been elected a Fellow of the British Academy and of the Econometric Society. He is Co-Chairman of the Board of Economic Policy, a member of the Bellagio Group on the International Economy, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and Chair of the Collegio di Probiviri (Wise Men Committee) of MTS.
Richard Portes was decorated Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the Queen’s New Year Honours List 2003.
