University Colleges in Europe: a network of excellences for the promotion of European citizenship is the title of the meeting at which the President Gian Luca Giovannucci will deliver a speech. Officially founded in 2008, EUCA represents over 53,000 students who live in 194 Colleges in Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom. An overview on the most recent initiatives promoted by the Association and its colleges will allow the participants to recognize the contribution that University education can bring to the project of European building, even if it is developed out of the strictly academic world. As a matter of fact, in the Colleges, the students not residing in the city where they study do not only find an accommodation where to spend their University years, but they will be accompanied through an education path trying to turn them into more active and responsible European citizens.
