Poets set to music: concert of the choir of the European University Institute

Choristers from France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Russia, UK and USA, led by the conductor Valerio Del Piccolo, will gather at the Biblioteca delle Oblate for the concert of the Choir of the European University Institute. The concert includes the reading of poetical texts and singing their musicalization. It belongs to the project “Poeti in musica” (Poets set to music), whose objective is to illustrate some examples of the importance of the relationship existing between the poetical text and its setting to music. The concert falls within the programme of the Festival d’Europa and is organized in association with the European University Institute, promoter of the Festival.
