Opera at St. Mark’s English Church

In the charming Chiesa Anglicana in Via Maggio, the St. Mark Opera Company, in cooperation with the Associazione Via Maggio, will feature two performances of opera and a concert with melodies taken from the most famous operas. Founded in 1877 by the English community, the church was also the palace of the Machiavelli family, where the neo-renaissance layout combines with the Victorian decorative characters and the English pre-Raphaelite painting. On 6^th May at 9.15 p.m. the Concert with Soprano and Tenor will be held. On 7^th May at 8.30 p.m. La Traviata will be performed, while La Bohème is scheduled for 10^th May.
