The Museum Director Elena Capolino, in cooperation with the Associazione Via Maggio, organizes a guided tour of Casa Guidi, in Piazza San Felice 8, in Florence. Casa Guidi was the residence of two famous English poets, Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barret, who moved there after their secret marriage and the consequent escape from England. Characterized by great intellectual excitement, the house became a meeting place for artists, politicians and writers and has maintained to date the typical anglo-Florence atmosphere of that period. Reservation for the guided tour is not required.
