Berlin-Palermo und zurück

Within the ambit of the Festival d’Europa, the Deutsches Institut Florenz features the projection of the documentary “Berlin-Palermo und zurück” (Berlin-Palermo), produced by the Goethe Institut. The documentary relates the journey that Beppe Severgnini of the Corriere della Sera, and Mark Spörrle of Zeit, made together from Berlin to Palermo by train, to discover the peculiarities and the different approaches of their respective countries. The same journey is the focus of a blog where two journalists who have always been excellent keen observers discuss about faults and habits of the respective “peoples” they belong to.
