Archivio Contemporaneo Bonsanti. Illustration of the European Origins of the Institute

In cooperation with the Manager Gloria Manghetti, the Associazione Via Maggio organizes a guided tour of the Archivio Contemporaneo Bonsanti starting from the illustration of its European origins. Established at the G.P. VIEUSSEUX in 1975 on initiative of the then manager Alessandro Bonsanti with the purpose of gathering material concerning personalities of the contemporary world, the Archive is today located in the charming fourteenth-century halls of the municipal Palazzo Corsini Suarez, in Via Maggio 42. At present it has 130 funds, 500,000 documents and 50,000 volumes available to the visitors. The visit is free and provides for a fixed maximum number of visitors that may book by calling in the morning on 055 290132.
