From Arcetri to Saturno, and Beyond

Discovering stars and dealing with the various activities of the astronomical park of Arcetri, which will be opened on the occasion of the Festival d’Europa The evening event provides for the visit to the astronomical park, the observation of the Moon, of Saturn and other sky objects with the Amici and other telescopes, as well as the observation of cosmic rays and natural radioactivity with the cloud chamber. Because of the limited capacity of the rooms, the maximum number is 40 people per group and reservation is required (055 2752280 - richiesta_visita@arcetri.astro.it). It is also required an optional donation; recommended: 4 € for children under 14, 5 € for high school students, 7 € for adults. In case of poor visibility, other activities will be organized, such as video projections and conferences held by astronomers.
