SHOW THE PHOTOGALLERY FORM THE LAUNCH OF YOUTH ON THE MOVE IN EUROPE

The main task of the National LLP Agency and the Youth Agency for Youth in Action will be the involvement of citizens and to give visibility to those experiencing Europe at all its levels and participating in the EU Programmes for cooperation and mobility of youth. "It is a pleasure for us - said Fiora Imberciadori, LLP Agency, Comenius, Erasmus and Grundtvig - to be present and introduce the new initiative "Youth on the Move". We will show everybody the mobility and cooperation experiences carried out to date and financed by the EU funds of the Youth in Action Programme and of the Lifelong Learning Programme".

"We are very happy to participate in the launch of "Youth on the Move" in Italy - added Marina Rozera, National agency LLP of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme - Our participation will be aimed at highlighting the many successful experiences carried out within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme and, in particular, at presenting the contribution represented by transnational mobility also in favouring the access of youth to the European labour market". Also the Director of the National Youth Agency, Paolo Di Caro, is very positive. He commented on their participation in the event as follows: "Youth on the Move, employment, non-formal education: with "Youth on the Move" we are searching for the Europe of opportunities; European youth of peoples, cultures and identities that meet, face and contaminate".

The protagonists will be young people themselves who, at the heart of the town, within the space of  Youth on the Move in Piazza Signoria, will have the opportunity to meet and perform. It will be a party where Comenius pupils, Erasmus students, volunteers of "Youth in Action" and many others will perform in theatre and music performances characterized by creativity and innovation. Also installations, multimedia exhibitions, video projections, interviews, debates and workshops will take place. A unique event where, for the first time in Italy, the experiences that over the years have made European cooperation alive and important in Learning and Training, will be publicly showed in order to share the actual contribution made by the European Union in the last thirty years, which, through its initiatives, aims at improving the future of youth.
